LSU improved to 17-7 on the year as they defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs 72-59 at the PMAC Wednesday night. Despite a slow start, LSU ended the half on a 27-6 run, and led by 7 at the half. Darrel Mitchell put his name in LSU's record book by breaking the record for 3-pointers in a career (238). Also, Glen Davis recorded his 5th straight double-double. Davis finished the game with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Next Up:
LSU goes on the road to face the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m. CT. on Fox Sports Net. LSU should be able to handle the game pretty easily, but you never know in the SEC.
