LSU wins 23rd straight SEC game, beats Tennessee 72-69

The #4 ranked Lady LSU Tigers defeated the #5 ranked Lady Volunteers 72-69, for the first time ever in Knoxville. Seimone Augustus was one point away of tying a career record of 33.
The Lady Tigers jumped out to an early lead, but Tennessee didn't throw in the towel. Tennessee clawed their way back and led by 5 points with 9 minutes remaining in the game. Seimone Augustus and the Tigers didn't give up, as they held strong and came out with the victory.
LSU hosts the #13 ranked Georgia Bulldogs at the PMAC Sunday, February 12. The tip-off is set for 2 p.m. CST, and will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
